This refined cuvée brings together the best of three beloved German grape varieties in one wine. Riesling gives the wine its structure and delicate elegance, Weißburgunder adds body and balance, and Sauvignon Blanc provides lively fruit notes and fresh tension. The result is a harmonious blend that is at once complex and wonderfully drinkable.
The grapes come from vineyards around Forst, where the soil is rich in a mosaic of rock types. This geological diversity creates a nice balance between mineral depth and expressive fruitiness. The harvest took place in a careful and partly manual manner. After gentle pressing, the grape musts were led by gravity to the fermentation tanks in an old vaulted cellar. Fermentation took place under controlled temperature, followed by maturation partly in large wooden barrels and partly in stainless steel tanks, both on fine lees.
On the nose, the wine is inviting with exotic aromas and floral notes. On the palate, it shows elegant structure, balanced character and a fresh, crisp finish. Bottled in a slim Schlegelf bottle with a modern screw cap, the '3 Trauben' presents itself in a sleek and contemporary look. With its alcohol content of 11.5%, this is a lively and cheerful wine that guarantees pure drinking pleasure.
