This Amarone surprises with unparalleled depth thanks to the grapes' unique drying technique and five years of aging in oak - a true taste sensation.
The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG is a globally acclaimed red wine known for its full body and complex character. With a ruby red color that tends to garnet red after aging, this wine offers an intense and elegant aroma. On the palate, it is structured and powerful, with a bittersweet, soft and velvety taste that lingers for a long time. This sophisticated wine is made from hand-selected grapes from historic vineyards in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, creating unique and refined flavor nuances.
The Amarone is obtained from a carefully blended blend of Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and a small percentage of other permitted grapes. After harvest, the grapes are dried in special rooms until winter, losing about 40% of their weight and developing a concentrated flavor. The wine is then aged for five years in oak barrels and six months in bottle, providing harmonious balance and impressive depth.
This powerful Amarone is the perfect companion to game dishes, grilled meats, roasted and braised meat dishes, as well as aged cheeses. For the optimal taste experience, we recommend opening the bottle two to three hours before serving and enjoy at a temperature of 18°C.
