The 'Amelia' Cabernet Franc Toscana IGT 2017 is a red wine made from 100% Cabernet Franc that goes perfectly with grilled meats, game and ripe cheeses.
The grapes for the 'Amelia' grow on a small vineyard of less than a hectare in Fauglia in the rolling hills of the hills surrounding Pisa. The harvest takes place exclusively by hand and the grapes are therefore chosen with the utmost care. After fermentation, the wine is aged in French oak barrels. The natural course of fermentation and ageing and the small number of grapes give this Cabernet Franc a unique softness and persistence.
The red wine has an intense ruby red colour with a strong aromatic expression of plums, blackberries and forest fruits. On the palate, it is a soft balanced wine with hints of chocolate and liquorice.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
