The Annada 2021 is an exclusive and refined white wine, born of a personal family connection: the name refers to Anna and Davide, the second children of brothers Stefano and Marco Pisoni. This wine is the result of a careful selection of 100% Nosiola grapes, from the sun-drenched hills of San Siro in the Valle dei Laghi. The unique location of the vineyards, exposed to daily mountain breezes, contributes to the fresh and mineral expression of this wine.
After a harvest at optimum ripeness, the Nosiola grapes are pressed and the must ferments directly in acacia wood tonneaux. This refined vinification process, followed by a 12-month ageing in these barrels and 3 months of bottle rest, results in a wine with a straw yellow colour, an inviting aroma of ripe apple and a subtle hint of vanilla. On the palate, Annada presents itself as rich, dry and persistent, with a characteristic saltiness and a gentle spicy touch from the acacia wood.
With an alcohol content of 12.5%, acidity of 6.3 g/L and dry extract of 21 g/L, Annada 2021 is a balanced and elegant wine. The limited residual sugar (2 g/L) ensures a dry finish, while the minerality and structure make it an excellent companion to light dishes such as fish, white meat or refined vegetarian preparations. This wine embodies the craftsmanship of the Pisoni family and is a harmonious bridge between tradition, terroir and family passion.
