The Antiche Vie Chianti DOCG is a red wine made from 70% Sangiovese, 15% Trebbiano and 15% Malvasia Nera and goes perfectly with appetisers, unripe cheeses and drinks boards.
The wine has a vibrant ruby red colour with clear hints of ripe cherry and blossom on the nose. On the palate, the wine has a firm body, pungent tannins with a longer finish. The grapes are harvested in the first weeks of September, after which vinification begins. The maceration with skin lasts 20 days after which maturation takes place for 6 months in steel tanks and 4 months in bottle.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
