Alcohol: 12.5% variable depending on vintage
Romas: Aromas of a blend of spices that slightly mask the complexity of fruit and flowers, typical of the blend that emerges later.
Taste: On the palate, the wine is fresh, acidic and very savoury. One of the flavours stands out that of citrus fruits with a prevalence of tangerine, but the most aromatic note is the floral bouquet of jasmine. The savoury and cheerful finish leaves an interesting minerality on the palate.
Even the white grapes of Trebbiano and Malvasia, from which Arale is born, undergo careful selection in the vineyard and achieve average yields that are slightly higher than those of the black grape varieties. Harvesting takes place in the early morning of October. The grapes are immediately pressed and then fermented in barriques with inoculation of indigenous yeasts. Fermentation takes place spontaneously in the barriques and the only interventions carried out are daily batonage. The first rough racking takes place only at the end of alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. We then continue with another four annual cleanings to obtain a clean wine ready to be bottled after very light filtration.

De wijn is mooi van kleur maar smaakt wat mat. Blijft ook niet lekker in de mond hangen. Voor mij zeker geen aperitief wijn. Misschien smaakt de wijn beter bij een frisse salade. Dat heb ik echter niet uitgeprobeerd.
