Aurora is an enchanting rosé that reflects the rich wine traditions of Puglia, a region known for its exceptional rosé wines. Made from 100% Primitivo grapes, this wine is our flamboyant interpretation of the classic Primitivo Rosé. Aurora is a wine inextricably linked to its land of origin, exuding freshness, cheerfulness and richness.
The vineyards are located at an altitude of 400 metres above sea level and are managed organically. The chalky clay soil and sunny southern exposure contribute to the unique quality of this wine. After harvesting in September, the grapes undergo controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 14 to 16°C. The skin maceration lasts 12 hours, giving the wine its beautiful, bright pink colour. Aurora then ages for four months in stainless steel tanks and at least two months in bottle to develop its full character.
Aurora presents a sunny aroma of hibiscus, rose and cherry, complemented by notes of dried black cherry and vetiver. The palate is lively, fresh and savoury, with a fruity finish that lingers pleasantly.
With an alcohol content of 13%, Aurora is perfect to serve at 12°C. This versatile rosé is ideal as an aperitif, but also goes well with a variety of dishes and is suitable for any time of the day. Aurora is a true ode to the rich traditions and flavours of Puglia.
