The Auxerrois from Weingut Marx is a white wine from the Saarland region, Mosel in Germany, made from the Auxerrois grape. With an alcohol content of 12% vol. and from the 2023 vintage, this is a delicious dry wine.
The wine is dry in taste and offers a powerful, fruity flavour profile with aromas of yellow fruits. It is aged in a stainless steel tank and produced using conventional methods. The grapes grow on soils of shell limestone, which contributes to the wine's unique minerality.
This wine is best served at 6-8°C and makes an ideal accompaniment to dishes with fish, asparagus or fresh cheese.
