This Barolo has violet and earthy characters. The tannins are supported by pleasant fruitiness and a silky and full-bodied texture. The wine is complex, refined and full of flavours with an elegant finish. The colour is garnet red with orange predominating through the years. Given its high potential for improving tannins, it is an ideal wine to keep in the cellar for a few more years. Goes perfectly with several blue and aged cheeses, and with red meat, stews, game, rabbit, pheasant, truffle and other typical dishes from the Langhe.
