Product description
The Barbaresco DOCG originates in the rolling Nebbiolo hills of the Langa, where the winery carefully harvests grapes from the municipalities of Treiso, Barbaresco, Neive and Alba. To some, this wine is a refined younger brother of the Barolo, while others see it as a symbol of pure excellence and craftsmanship. The Nebbiolo grapes give it a unique identity that is appreciated worldwide and often shines in culinary magazines of note. After aging for a minimum of three years in oak barrels, the Barbaresco presents itself with a deep garnet red color, enriched with subtle orange nuances. The bouquet is intense and characteristic, with ethereal notes of rose, violet and plum, complemented by the warm influence of the barrels: think vanilla, tobacco, cinnamon and a hint of nutmeg. On the palate, it offers a dry, full-bodied taste with a slightly austere undertone, which turns into a velvety and harmonious finish. This wine exudes both simplicity and elegance and invites you to keep enjoying it. With long aging, the winery recommends decanting it for 2-3 hours before serving. Use spacious glasses to allow the complex aromas of this extraordinary Piedmontese red wine to fully breathe and come into their own.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
