The Barbera d'Alba by Agnelli Viassone is a red wine made from 100% Barbera that goes perfectly with heartier dishes with meat or cheese.
The grapes for this wine come from a vineyard with a north-west exposure whose first harvest took place in 2020. The grapes are harvested by hand and collected in perforated crates. After harvesting, the wine matures for 10 months in tonneau barrels. Some of the grapes come from the vineyard below the wine cellar, which has a western exposure and ensures a firm structure in the wine. The remainder comes from the vineyard with the "ciabot", which ensures good freshness in the wine even in drier years. The wine has an intense ruby red colour with on the nose distinct aromas of forest fruits, blackberry and raspberry recognisable with undertones of spices.On tasting, the wine stands out for its fruitiness, harmony, pleasant flavour and full body. The wine has an alcohol content of 14.5% vol.
