I Tre Poggi's Barbera d'Asti DOCG is a round, supple red wine made from 100% Barbera, and is best enjoyed with Bagna Cauda, red meats and mature cheeses.
In the sun-drenched hills of Piedmont, I Tre Poggi's Barbera grapes thrive to full maturity, picked by hand during the last weeks of September and the first of October. At the I Tre Poggi winery, these grapes undergo a careful process of vinification, first destemming and crushing, then fermenting and ageing in stainless steel tanks.
When poured, I Tre Poggi's Barbera reveals a brilliant ruby red colour with subtle garnet nuances. The bouquet is intense and fragrant, with lingering notes of ripe berries, plums, sour cherries, spices and a hint of mint.
At every sip, the Barbera of I Tre Poggi is a very intense wine.
