The Barbera d'Asti DOCG 2021 is a red wine made from Barbera that goes perfectly with heartier meat dishes and mature cheeses.
The wine has a ruby red colour with an intense and full mouth feel with characteristic aromas on the nose. The grapes are destemmed after picking and gently pressed before maceration and subsequent fermentation take place. After the alcoholic fermentation, the wine is fermented a second time but this time malolactically to further mature the wine. After the second round of fermentation, the wine is decanted into steel tanks and aged for another 10 to 12 months before it is bottled.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
