This Barbera d'Asti Superiore is a harmonious ruby red wine. A fruity wine from Canonica with hints of red fruit. The wine is dry and beautifully full-bodied. This superiore has a higher alcohol content than the regular Barbera d'Asti, also this wine has matured for at least 9 months in wooden barrels, as this is a prerequisite when making a "superiore" wine in Italy. This delicious wine that has won many awards in the past goes well with pasta and various meat dishes.
