Origin: The Cerretta is a historic Cru of Barolo. The vineyard is located in the village of Serralunga d'Alba.
Type of soil: calcareous and rich in iron.
Harvest: in October, by hand
Aging: after vinification, the wine matures for 36 months in 400-litre Allier French barrels. After the necessary refining in barrel, further refinement takes place in bottle for a minimum of 6 months.
