Romas: Pleasant and intense aroma of white forest flowers, notes of hawthorn and honeysuckle stand out
Taste: Sour and slightly savoury, it leaves a lingering smoothness on the palate. Dry wine excellent as an aperitif, or with vegetarian or fish dishes.
The grapes of mainly Grechetto and other white grape varieties from which Batticoda originates come from a steep, stony and sunny vineyard. Thanks to the particularity of the territory as early as late August, the grapes show the characteristic aromas of this wine.
After manual harvest, the grapes are destemmed and immediately pressed. This is followed by racking in steel where fermentation takes place freely. Taking advantage of winter temperatures, the wine ripens and purifies naturally. Batticoda is bottled in winter without being filtered.
Naar bloemen geurende wijn, goed van smaak en met een mooie kleur. Blijft lekker in de mond hangen. Uitstekend te drinken als aperitief wijn met een stukje jonge Hollandse kaas.
