The Batticoda Umbria Bianco Bio is a sophisticated organic white wine with a bright straw yellow color. With an alcohol content of 12.5%, depending on the vintage, this wine offers a wonderfully intense aroma of white forest flowers, in which subtle notes of hawthorn and honeysuckle are evident. The aroma is fresh and floral, which is a perfect precursor to the lively taste experience that follows.
At the first sip, the wine reveals refreshing acidity and a slight saltiness, which makes for an elegant and lingering finish. The structure is dry and harmonious, making this wine excellent as an aperitif. It also comes out perfectly with vegetarian dishes, refined fish dishes and both light and slightly more powerful seafood starters.
The wine is produced with care through an artisanal vinification process. After the manual harvest, the grapes are carefully destemmed and immediately pressed. Spontaneous fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, taking advantage of the natural winter temperatures to mature and clarify the wine in a pure way, without the use of animal products. In winter, it is bottled unfiltered, adding to its authentic and characterful taste.
