The 'Beppo' Riesling Trocken is an elegant cuvée that perfectly embodies the nobility and versatility of the Riesling grape. Sourced from several carefully selected plots, with soils of buntsandstein weathering rock and shell limestone, this wine beautifully demonstrates how Riesling can translate terroir into detail.
The golden-yellow grapes were harvested by hand, gently pressed and transported by gravity to the cellar. There, fermentation took place in both large wooden barrels (Doppelstück) and stainless steel, with controlled temperature. The final assemblage was inspired by the classic cuvée principle, bringing together the positive attributes of multiple Riesling batches into a harmonious whole.
In the glass, 'Beppo' shows itself lively and refined. In the nose, notes of ripe yellow fruits such as peach and apricot dominate, subtly supported by a slight minerality. The palate is juicy, well-structured and refreshing, with pleasing length. Thanks to its fresh character and light style, this Riesling is an excellent companion to light dishes such as salads, fish, seafood or Asian dishes with subtle spice.
With an alcohol content of 11.5%, 'Beppo' is not only refined and drinkable, but also perfect for summer days or a relaxed dinner with friends. A classic Riesling in a modern twist - accessible but with depth.
