Blanc Suprême by Champagne Bonvalet is an elegant and balanced cuvée that perfectly reflects the balance between power and finesse. First released in 2016, this champagne represents the symbolic Yin versus the Yang of Brut Suprême. Where Brut Suprême represents sunshine and energy, Blanc Suprême represents the moon, freshness and receptivity. In 2023, this cuvée was reintroduced to Maison Bonvalet's collection as an ode to subtle elegance.
The assemblage consists of 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir, resulting in a refined style with floral and fruity notes. Malolactic fermentation ensures a supple, rounded structure, while the dosage of 6 grams per litre offers a nice balance between liveliness and softness. The champagne undergoes a three-year maturation, which adds to its maturity and complexity without sacrificing freshness.
In the glass, Blanc Suprême reveals a deep golden yellow colour with a delicate and persistent string of fine bubbles. The nose is expressive with notes of white flowers and fresh fruits. On the palate, this champagne presents itself with a medium body, lively minerality and a floral refinement that refreshes and prolongs the whole.
