The Cabbage Orange Wine is a white/orange wine made from 100% Verdicchio that can be drunk with seafood, porchetta and rabbit.
The wine has a golden yellow colour tending towards orange. On the nose, the wine is rich in aromas with hints of mimosa and lemon peel. The mouthfeel is harmonious and balanced. The subtle presence of tannins makes for and round and soft wine that contrasts with the classic harshness of wines from this region. Fermentation takes place naturally in terracotta amphoras with the skin remaining with the juice for 10 days. Maturation takes place for 12 months in these 'chalices' with a further six months of bottle maturation afterwards. The wine has an alcohol content of 12.5% and should be drunk between 10-12 degrees.
