The Cabernet Franc Barrique Organic is a red wine made from 100% Cabernet Franc that accompanies any meat dish to perfection. This wine has its origins in France but found its way to Friuli in the second half of the 19th century. This unique grape variety thrives on our clayey soil and results in intense pigmentation, complex aromatic sensations, softness and longevity. Maturation in barrique vats ensures the development and expression of the full potential of this grape variety. This organic wine presents an elegant bouquet and offers an abundance of intoxicating sensations. The Cabernet Franc Barrique Organic is best served between 16C and 18C, making the most of its characteristics. Our vines are located in Pasiano di Pordenone, where the Cabernet Franc grapes are trained according to the Sylvoz system. The harvest period runs from 25 September to 15 October, during which we use carefully selected and ripe grapes. Red winemaking involves maceration for 8-10 days, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks. This is followed by malolactic fermentation and maturation in barrique vats. With an alcohol content of 12.5% vol and a subtle residual sugar of around 3 g/l, this wine is perfectly balanced. The Cabernet Franc Barrique Organic has a deep ruby red colour with violet reflections. The bouquet is characterised by aromas of red fruits, wild black cherries, hints of cyclamen and violets, and soft tannins. The complex structure of the taste will enchant your senses.
