The Carignano del Sulcis is a difficult-to-grow grape variety that presents high agronomic challenges. This wine comes from old vines over eighty years old that find their natural habitat on the Sulcis sands near the island of Sant'Antioco. They vinify in steel tanks to preserve the maximum expression of this grape variety. It is the symbolic wine of the union between Antonietta, one of the owners of Carpante, and Luca, who brought in the vineyard of Carignano del Sulcis in Sardinia.
