The 'Carme' Capriano del Colle DOC Rosso is a red wine made from 50% Marzemino, 40% Merlot and 10% Sangiovese and goes perfectly with grilled meats, charcuterie and fish soup.
This red wine has a bouquet of aromas that hints at ripe fruit and summer flowers that make for a very pleasant mouth feel. The wine is slightly spicy and has a charming finish. Fermentation and maceration take place at controlled temperatures and last about 15 days. Further maturation then takes place in cement vats.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
