The Carménère DOC Piave is a red wine made from Carménère that goes perfectly with appetisers and spicy dishes with an extra pepper.
The wine has a deep red colour with violet reflections. The bouquet of aromas are complex and spicy with grassy notes. The mouthfeel is round with slightly present tannins and a hint of spiciness. It is a versatile wine from a grape variety originally from Bordeaux but finds one of its best expressions in the Piave region.
In the wine cellar, CARMÉNÈRE undergoes red vinification with a long maceration period and fermentation at a controlled temperature of 24°C for 22 days. The wine then matures in stainless steel tanks. Bottling took place on 23 April 2022, producing 1,400 0.75-litre bottles. The recommended serving temperature is 18°C.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
