Brachetto d'Acqui DOCG 'Cascina Cabonaldo' is one of the most distinctive wines from our cellar. This unique, aromatic, sweet and slightly sparkling red wine is made from 100% Brachetto grapes and has no equal in the wine world.
The grapes are harvested by hand in early September and undergo a short maceration on the skins to extract the intense ruby red colour and distinctive aromas. Fermentation is then stopped by filtration and cooling, after which the wine develops its delicate bubbles in autoclave to an alcohol content of 5.5%.
With its lively mousse, pronounced floral and fruity aromas, and a perfect balance between sweetness and freshness, this Brachetto is an ideal accompaniment to chocolate desserts, fruit salads with peaches or strawberries, and even spicy dishes or savoury, smoked meats. Serve chilled between 8 and 10°C to fully enjoy its refined and refreshing character. Thanks to its natural elegance, this wine will remain in top form until 2027.
