Product description
Cascina Cabonaldo Moscato d'Asti DOCG is a sophisticated and aromatic sweet wine, originating from the sunny hills of Montabone in Piedmont. Moscato has been considered the true gold of the region here for centuries, producing wines of exceptional quality every year.
The grapes are carefully harvested by hand in the first weeks of September, with only the best rows selected to produce this prestigious Moscato. After gentle pressing, the juice is filtered and immediately chilled to preserve the grape's delicate aromas. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in autoclaves at a controlled temperature, never higher than 18°C, until the wine reaches an alcohol content of at least 4.5%.
This sweet and slightly sparkling wine goes perfectly with desserts, especially cream cakes, hazelnut cakes and semifreddo. It is also excellent for preparing zabaione. Those looking for a special taste experience can age the wine for several years: after more than 36 months, Moscato develops fascinating tertiary aromas and spicy notes that add a whole new dimension to the wine.
With an alcohol content of 5% and a residual sugar content of 113.80 g/l, this Moscato d'Asti is a real treat. Best to drink between 2025 and 2028, served at a temperature of 6-8°C.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
