This Viognier is an elegant and refined white wine, coming from two carefully selected vineyards in Serralunga d'Alba and Diano d'Alba. The grapes are harvested with precision and undergo fermentation in 400-liter French oak tonneaux, whose subtle and refined toasting ensures that the typical characteristics of the grape variety are best preserved. The wine then ages for eight months on the fine lees, with regular bâtonnage, contributing to its complexity and structure.
In the glass, the wine presents itself with an intense straw yellow color and subtle green reflections. The nose is treated to an aromatic palette of ripe apricot, yellow peach and citrus fruits such as lime, tangerine and bergamot. Floral accents and a refined texture enhance the elegance of this Viognier, while the wood aging adds subtle depth without overpowering the fruit.
On the palette, the wine shows impressive structure and balance. The full, harmonious palate is supported by refined minerality and a long, lingering finish. This Viognier is not only a pleasure to drink now, but also has excellent aging potential, allowing it to further develop and refine over the years.
