Vines: 100% Nebbiolo
Characteristics: The symbol on the label is a stylisation of the "4 Rose Camune", also the official symbol of Regione Lombardia.
Yield: ~70 q.li/ha
Vineyards: Location on the Rhaetian side of the Alps, located on the east-west side, with southern exposure.
Vinification: Once harvested, the grapes are destemmed, pressed and the skins are left in contact with the must for about 15 hours. In this way, after removing the liquid part of the must, and gently pressing the skins, a must is obtained that is partially stripped of pink colour. Fermentation takes about 6 days.
Maturation: After fermentation, the wine is left to decant spontaneously for about a month so that malolactic fermentation does not take place. This way, an important acidity level is maintained on the must, which will give the wine freshness and durability.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery.
