'Château Palatin' Saint-Émilion Grand Cru 2022 is a powerful and elegant wine originating in the heart of the vineyards of Saint-Émilion. Thanks to a privileged southern exposure and a rich variety of terroirs - from clay and gravel to loam and limestone - this cru has everything it needs to express deep complexity and refinement.
The grapes are carefully vinified plot by plot in small, temperature-controlled concrete cuves to best do justice to the diversity of soils. Maturation takes place for 14 to 18 months in new and one-year-old oak barrels. Part of the harvest is deliberately kept in tank to preserve and balance aromatic freshness in the final assemblage.
The result is a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru with deep, complex aromas of black fruit, delicate spices and toasted notes. On the palate, it is powerful and intense, with ripe, velvety tannins that make for a long, balanced and elegant finish. This wine is ideally suited to dishes with rich sauces, spicy meat dishes or game, such as pigeon with porcini mushrooms. A grand wine with class and character.
