The 'Checco 24' Vino Bianco Frizzante Col Fondo from Moret Vini is a sparkling white wine made from 100% Glera and is best enjoyed with local dishes from Veneto.
Moretvini's "vin col fondo" is the most typical expression of their winemaking tradition. They let the wine rest in contact with the yeast for at least 24 months to express complex and rich notes, making this wine a real gem in our selection. This wine has a slightly veiled appearance with a deep yellow colour and a light, creamy pearlisation. In the aromas one finds pleasant yeasty flavours, bread crust and, after long aging, rich flavours of ripe yellow fruits and saffron can be expressed. The taste is pleasantly dry. It is a frizzante with a residual sugar content of ≤1 g/l and an alcohol content of 10.5% vol. This vintage is from 2018 and it is best served at a temperature of 8-10 °C. Traditionally, it is paired with local sopressa. All our grapes are harvested by hand.
