Product description
ClimbWines II "Alpine" is a wine for the true enthusiast - layered, elegant and powerful. Just as alpine mountaineering is considered the ultimate discipline within mountaineering, this Riesling represents the pinnacle of what the terroir has to offer. Only the best grapes from the Forster Spitzenlagen are harvested by hand and carefully processed. After a brief maceration, the wine ferments traditionally in large wooden Doppelstück barrels, followed by a lengthy maturation on fine yeast. This classic process gives the wine depth, tension and remarkable longevity.
ClimbWines II is a true experience for the senses. On the nose, ripe apricots and mirabelle emerge, subtly intertwined with a spicy touch. On the palate, the wine shows its full, creamy character without losing its distinctive Riesling structure: lively, fresh and crisp. The long finish constantly reveals new layers and makes this wine a perfect companion to a gourmet dinner.
With its alcohol content of 12.5% and its elegant appearance - presented in a classic Schlegelflasche with natural cork and wax - ClimbWines II exudes finesse and class. This is a wine that takes you to the highest regions of flavour, a true "High Peak" among Rieslings.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
