The Roero DOCG Riserva Colla is a red wine made from 100% Nebbiolo that is best drunk with hearty meat dishes and medium cheeses.
The wine has intense ruby red colour. The wine has a rich mouth feel with soft tannins that are well balanced. On the nose, a present bouquet of aromas ter recognise hints of roses and vanilla. The wine was vinified in steel tanks after which the ageing process took place and oak barriques. After two years in these barrels, the wine was bottled after which it matured in bottle for a few more months.
The wine has an alcohol content of 14.5% and, after airing it for a while, can best be drunk at 18 degrees.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
