Barbera is one of Piedmont's most iconic indigenous grape varieties and is known for its versatility and ability to adapt to different terroirs. This Barbera comes from Santa Rosalia, located on the hills of Alba, where the clay-rich soils create a wine with a juicy and round character. Thanks to a six-month aging in large 1,500-liter oak barrels, the wine develops a rich profile with deep aromas of morels and violets.
The wine has an intense ruby color and a fragrant nose full of spices and ripe red fruits. On the palate it is full and structured, with a pleasant freshness characteristic of the Barbera grape. The delicate balance between acidity and fullness makes this wine an excellent companion to rich pasta dishes, grilled meats and aged cheeses.
