Product description
This beautiful white wine from Matteo Poggio goes well as an aperitif and perfectly with very delicate fish dishes such as sea bass baked in foil.
Vine variety: 100% Cortese Vineyard location: southwest Average vineyard age: 20 years Vinification method: destemming, then cold maceration (3-4°C) for 12 hours, gentle pressing and decanting into steel tanks where fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature. 10% of the grapes are fermented with the skins and remain in maceration with the skins for 25 days. Final blending in steel tanks and a month of ageing on lees. The wine is usually bottled before Christmas. Alcohol level: 12.5% vol
Serving temperature: 8-10°C Type of glass: medium-sized glass in the shape of a slender tulip, closed slightly upwards to allow for a harmonious concentration of aromas.
