The Corvina Verona IGT is a vibrant red wine with a beautiful ruby color, made from carefully hand-selected grapes from our own vineyards at the foot of Monte Baldo, at an altitude of about 350 meters. This wine is created from 100% Corvina and after the harvest has dried for about two months in special drying rooms, which ensures an intense concentration of aromas and flavors. The wine is then aged for nearly three years in barriques and large oak barrels, followed by a further refinement of about six months in bottle, contributing to its complex character.
Upon pouring, an intense aroma of ripe red fruit is released, with delicate hints of cherry and morello cherry, subtly enriched with spicy nuances. On the palate, the Corvina Verona IGT is full and enveloping, with a rich tannic structure and an intense and persistent finish. The alcohol content of 14% gives the wine a firm body without losing its elegance.
This sophisticated red wine is the perfect choice to pair with fine meats, flavorful pasta dishes with meat, hearty red meat dishes, game and aged cheeses. Serve it at a temperature of 16°-18°C and uncork the bottle at least one hour before serving to allow its complex aromas to fully emerge.
