The 'Crinale nordest' IGP Marche Rosso Lacrima is a red wine from Mazzola, made from 100% Lacrima grapes. This wine comes from the Senigallia region, just 1,000 metres from the sea, and stands out for its special freshness and character.
The grapes for this wine come from a hilly area with a clay-limestone soil, which provides ideal conditions for the Lacrima grape. The vineyard uses the Guyot training system and has 4600 vines per hectare, with a maximum yield of 1.5 kg per vine. Harvesting takes place by hand in late September, with the grapes collected in crates.
After harvest, the wine undergoes a long, dynamic cold maceration to extract aromas and colour. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, with indigenous yeasts. After fermentation, the wine matures for 36 months in stainless steel tanks on fine lees, with continuous bâtonnage to further develop complexity.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
