Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are typical grape varieties from the French regions of Burgundy and Champagne. Towards the end of the eighteenth century, the first vines of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir were brought to Piedmont, but it was mainly in the mid-nineteenth century that the cultivation of these grapes began in southern Piedmont, especially for the production of sparkling wines.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery.
