Diecitacche Corvina IGT Verona is a tribute to ten years of Bigagnoli's wine passion and craftsmanship. This exclusive cuvée, limited to just 397 numbered bottles, celebrates the winery's first decade with a unique expression of the Corvina grape - the Bardolino area's most emblematic variety. Sourced from the hot vintage 2022, the wine is made from late-harvested, intensely concentrated and almost over-ripe grapes, resulting in a characterful and layered wine.
The wine is harvested entirely by hand in the hills of Calmasino di Bardolino and undergoes spontaneous fermentation without temperature control, using only native yeasts from the Corvina itself. Aging takes place for 10 months in ceramic CLAYVER amphorae, giving the wine an authentic, pure and unfiltered character without the influence of wood.
In the glass, Diecitacche shows a light ruby to garnet red colour with transparent reflections. On the nose, it opens with complex aromas of red fruits, dried flowers, spices and woody notes. The palate is powerful and structured, carried by lively acidity and firm yet refined tannins. This particular Corvina not only offers immediate drinking pleasure, but also possesses the elegance and freshness that guarantee beautiful ageing. A wine for lovers, full of emotion, history and future.
