The Dolcetto d'Alba DOC by Agnelli Viassone is a red wine made from 100% Dolcetto that can be perfectly drunk with stuffed pasta and heartier starters.
The vineyard for this wine dates back to 1977 while the first vintage of the wine was not until 2021. The grapes are harvested by hand and collected in perforated crates. After harvesting, the wine matures for 8 months in cement vats.

When poured, the wine stands out for its intense ruby red colour. In the nose, aromas of red fruits such as sour cherry and cherry emerge, along with floral notes of fresh red flowers. Hints of cocoa beans and tobacco are also present.
When tasting the wine, you experience freshness from the fresh red fruit, a subtle hint of citrus, and a mineral touch. The wine has a good balance and finishes with a pleasant juiciness that invites you for the next sip.
Dolcetto van het wat zwaardere type. Mooie, ambachtelijke wijn, die hoog scoort. Ten onrechte scoren Dolcetto's wel heel veel lager dan de Nebbiolo-wijnen. Vooral in prijs. Dolcetto-wijnen zijn ongecomplieerder maar drinken heerlijk weg en iedereen vindt ze lekker.
