The name Superiore is given when the wine is aged for at least one year. Dolcetto d'Alba Superiore has a deep ruby red colour. It smells of blackberries, jam and has notes of subtle roasted and dried fruit. The taste is intense, moderately complex and full-bodied. This wine is ideal with starters and excellent with meats and cheeses. Its strong character also makes it great with grilled meats.

vineyard: For this wine we use grapes from the highest part of two hills where the soil is thin and clear, mainly calcareous.
