Product description
Claudia Cordara's Dolcetto d'Asti is a sophisticated red wine made from 100% Dolcetto grapes harvested by hand in the second half of September. These grapes grow on clay and calcareous soils in Castel Boglione, a prestigious site in the south of Asti, at an altitude of 220 meters. With vines more than 35 years old and the traditional Guyot pruning method, this produces a wine with character and depth. After careful vinification, the wine matures exclusively in stainless steel tanks to preserve its fresh and fruity character.
In the glass, the wine shines with a ruby red color and violet reflections, tending to garnet red with aging. The intense aroma reveals scents of ripe red fruit, with distinct notes of cherries. On the palate, the taste is dry, silky and harmonious, with mild acidity and a balanced presence of tannins that provide a pleasant almondy aftertaste. With an average alcohol content of 13%, this Dolcetto d'Asti offers delicate complexity and an inviting finish.
This versatile wine is an excellent choice for any course of the meal and is particularly well paired with charcuterie and aged cheeses. Serve the wine at a temperature of 16-18°C to fully enjoy its rich palate. Discover the tradition and finesse of the Dolcetto grape in this beautiful creation by Claudia Cordara.
