The 'Due Albe' Bianco Veneto IGT Biologico from Terre Grosse is a white wine made from Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay and is best enjoyed with fish and white meat.
The aromaticity of Sauvignon and the refinement of Chardonnay come together in an elegant and surprising blend. This fresh wine with character offers a full and balanced sip.
When poured, the wine shows reasonable consistency and a bright and quite intense straw yellow colour. The aromas, elegant and subtle, unfold slowly in the glass, starting with tropical fruit and progressing to a delicate floral scent, before finishing with a strong and characteristic vegetal tone of tomato leaf and aromatic herbs. On the palate, it is dry and the predominant freshness is followed by a pleasant velvety feel. In the long finish, we find intense aromatic hints and a hint of star anise. Balanced, harmonious and full-bodied, this wine surprises with its simple yet refined drinkability.
It goes extremely well with fish and white meat dishes with powerful spices. Try pairing it with a dish of eggs and asparagus, or omelettes with wild and aromatic herbs.
