The Elbing Brut from Weingut Max is a sparkling wine from the Mosel region in Germany, This Sekt, made from the Elbling grape, has an alcohol content of 12.5% vol. and falls under the German Sekt b.A. Mosel category.
The Sekt is quite dry (Brut) in taste and offers a sparkling, refreshing flavour profile with aromas of green apple and citrus. The sparkling wine is produced using the traditional method of bottle fermentation. The grapes grow on soils of shell limestone, which contributes to the wine's distinctive minerality.
This Sekt is best served at a temperature of 6-8°C and is ideal as an aperitif or paired with light salads, fresh fish and cold starters.
