Product description
The 'Elementi' Vin Orange is a 'white' biodynamic wine made from 70% Trebbiana d'Abruzzo and 30% Malvasia that can be perfectly drunk as an aperitif but also with pronounced dishes such as shellfish and blue cheeses. When tasting this wine, the orange colour is immediately noticeable, and the scent is characterised by floral notes, tropical fruit, candied citrus and Mediterranean spices. The first sip reveals a soft, fresh taste with a remarkable saltiness that leads to a slightly bitter but very persistent finish. This gives the wine exceptional elegance. The grapes for this wine are grown in soil composed mainly of sand and stones, with little ability to retain water. This unique soil contributes to the wine's special characteristics.
The vinification of this orange wine takes place at a controlled temperature of 10-12°C. It is a natural wine that is versatile and goes well with a variety of dishes ranging from appetisers to desserts. It pairs well with seafood, seafood, starters, foie gras and blue cheeses.
Production of this "Orange" wine begins in October with careful manual selection of the grapes. After picking, the grapes are removed from the stems and pressed. Fermentation begins spontaneously thanks to indigenous yeasts and lasts more than 60 days. During this period, intensive maceration takes place, similar to the process for red wine. This gives the wine its distinctive orange colour and aromas typical of the Trebbiano d'Abruzzo grape. This wine does not undergo filtration, but is only decanted before bottling.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:
6 bottles at the same winery: €6,-
12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
