Elvira is a unique rosé that honours the memory of a special woman. Named after the aunt of the founder of Vinicola Arno, this wine reflects the strength and passion with which Elvira lived her life. She ran her tavern with dedication, where she delighted her guests with sublime dishes while simultaneously raising her two children. The scents from her kitchen still seem tangible, and that same warmth and care are reflected in this special wine.
Elvira is the first Barbera of the season to be harvested, even before regular picking, to create a rosé that challenges every year. This makes production very limited, with only 1,500 bottles per year. With an alcohol content of 13%, this wine remains light and fresh, with pleasant acidity that is perfectly balanced. Its lively character makes it ideal as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to white meat dishes and refined vegetarian dishes.
This rosé has a distinct and fruity aroma, with notes of wild strawberries, raspberries, blackcurrants and blueberries, enriched with floral accents of roses and wisteria. On the palate, it offers a refreshing and slightly savoury sensation, enhanced by a subtle effervescence that emphasises its lively and fruity profile.
