The Esprit de Saint Louis is an organic red wine made from 85% Négrette and 15% Cabernet Franc that pairs perfectly with red meat.
The wine has seductive aromas on the nose of spices, nuts and red fruits. The Négrette brings powerful fruitiness to the wine while the Cabernet Franc adds elegance and finesse. As a result, the wine is nicely balanced, offering a nice balance between tannins, aromatic expression and tannins. The wine has spent 12 to 24 months in oak barrels which ensures it also has considerable storage potential.
The grapes are individually verified after harvest with a long maceration after which they are blended together.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
