The 'Farfuien' Barbera d'Asti Superiore DOCG is a wine of excellent quality with outstanding characteristics. It is produced with Barbera grapes and aged in oak barrels, also known as barriques. The wine has an intense ruby red colour and offers aromas of violets, marasca cherries and dried fruit. On tasting, it is soft, with a good tannic structure and moderate acidity.
While distinguishing between a Barbera and a Barbera Superiore, the latter is a specific classification assigned to Barbera wines of superior quality. These wines undergo a longer ageing period, developing more complexity and depth. This Barbera is excellent with dishes that have a firm texture, such as pasta with flavoured ragùs, red meat, game dishes and roasted dishes. Serve this wine around 14-16°C to show it at its best.

Goed en vol. Eerlijke wijn. choco en vanille tabak. 2022. Ik zou eigenlijk de andere flessen nog 2 jaar moeten laten liggen. Dan wordt deze iets wat zachter. Heerlijk vooruitzicht!

Wat een geweldige wijn is dit! Ik geef deze wijn altijd cadeau omdat deze wijn echt opvalt ten op zichte van andere wijnen!
Ben vorig jaar bij deze mensen op proeverij geweest en direct fan van de barbera superiore. Heerlijk zachte, droge smaak met lange afdronk. De lekkerste barbera d'asti wat mij betreft en ook nog eens voor een super prijs. De eigenaren zijn lief en echt dol op hun producten.
