In this package you will find the following traditional Sicilian wines:
2x 'Imperator' Vino Spumante Extra Dry: 'Imperator' Vino Spumante Extra Dry is a sophisticated sparkling white wine from western Sicily. The grapes are harvested by hand in the first days of August and come from eight-year-old vines growing on clay-rich soil at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level. The west-facing location provides optimal sunlight and contributes to the ripening of the autochthonous grape varieties from which this wine is made.
- 1x Nero d'Avola DOC Sicilia: This Nero d'Avola DOC Sicilia is a characterful red wine from the heart of western Sicily, from vineyards in Salemi at an altitude of 300 meters above sea level. This wine is made from 100% Nero d'Avola grapes, grown on clay-rich soils that contribute to its structure and elegance. The grapes, from six-year-old vines, are harvested manually in late August for optimal ripeness and aromatic expression.
- 1x Inzolia IGP Terre Sicilia: Inzolia IGP Sicilia is an expressive white wine from the hills of Salemi in western Sicily. The grapes are grown at 300 meters above sea level on clay-rich soils, where the western exposure provides ideal sun exposure. The eight-year-old vines are harvested manually in September, adding to the quality and authenticity of the wine.
- 1x 'Najà' Bianco IGP Terre Sicilia: 'Najà' Bianco IGP Terre Siciliane is a refined white wine from the sunny west of Sicily, from carefully selected grape varieties: Zibibbo, Inzolia and Catarratto. These grapes are harvested by hand on the sand-rich soils around Salemi, at an altitude of 260 meters above sea level. The vineyards are on slopes with a south to southeast orientation, providing optimal sunlight and aromatic intensity.
- 1x Grillo DOC Sicilia: This Grillo from western Sicily, sourced from vineyards near Salemi, reflects the essence of the Mediterranean terroir with its sunny location at 240 meters above sea level and sand-rich soils. The grapes are manually harvested in September, carefully selected and sourced from five-year-old vines that ripen optimally under southern to southeastern exposure.
The wine comes directly from the winemakers, they send the bottles themselves.
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery.
All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
