Guerci's 'Fiorfiore' Riesling Dell'Oltrepo Pavese DOC is a white wine made from 100% Riesling and is best enjoyed with fish dishes, white meat, shellfish and as an aperitif.
Fiorfiore is a white Riesling wine from Oltrepò Pavese, a region where Riesling is surprisingly at home, despite its usual association with northern Europe. This Riesling is carefully vinified with gentle pressing and then aged in steel and cement vats before bottling. This careful process results in a wine with an intense and floral flavour, enhanced by the fruity aromas typical of the Riesling grape. The wine has a full body and a dry finish, with subtle hints of peach further enriching the flavour.
