Product description
The 'Gagà' Monferrato Bianco DOC is a biodynamic white wine made from 100% Timorasso grapes that is best drunk with fish, seafood and shellfish. The wine is a refined certified organic as well as biodynamic. Only 1,200 bottles are made each year. The grapes for this wine were hand-picked and carefully selected, and they were transported in small crates to ensure quality. The yield per hectare is particularly low which makes for concentrated grapes. Fermentation and maceration of this wine were carried out spontaneously with indigenous yeasts, without temperature control. There was also a short maceration period with the grape skins to add extra depth to the wine. After vinification, this wine was aged for 8 months in second and third pass barriques, which contributed to its complexity and structure. Alcohol content is 14.20%, total acidity is 6.30 g/l, and dry extract is 20.80 g/l. In addition, this wine contains a modest total sulphite content of 64 mg/l. To fully enjoy its flavour, it is recommended to serve this wine at a temperature between 15°C and 17°C. It is an engaging wine that reflects the terroir beautifully and a real wine for the adventurous drinker!
Wine purchased via Onwine comes directly from the winery. All wineries pack the bottles themselves and hand them over to our shipping partner. Onwine works with boxes the size of 6 or 12 bottles.
To guarantee safe delivery, it is therefore also a requirement that orders are always made in multiples of 6 bottles.
The following shipping costs apply:

12+ bottles at the same winery: No shipping costs
You can order from several wineries at the same time. The above shipping costs apply to each individual winery.
