Product description
The Moscato d'Asti DOCG is a unique and refined wine loved worldwide for its aromatic character and pleasant drinkability. With each sip, the aroma and flavor of ripe Moscato grapes fully emerge, with a perfect balance of sweetness, fresh acidity and a delicate perlage. Harvested by hand in the second half of September, the grapes grow on the chalky soils of the Gallina vineyard in Neive, where the sunny exposure produces full, golden berries with an intense aroma.
Through gentle pressing and slow, temperature-controlled fermentation, interrupted at 5% alcohol, the wine retains some of its natural grape sugar. This results in a lively and fresh wine that is at its best within 30 months of harvest. At a serving temperature of 6-8 °C, its delicate flavor comes out best, with the combination of sweet and fresh making the wine irresistible.
This Moscato d'Asti DOCG is an ideal accompaniment to traditional hazelnut cake, jam tarts and delicate pastries. Its velvety and seductive character also makes a surprisingly successful pairing with blue-veined cheeses, where the sweetness of the wine contrasts beautifully with the spicy and creamy flavors of the cheese. An elegant choice for those looking for a light, aromatic and festive wine.
